Enjoy the winter activities and beautiful nature in Linnansaari National Parks Arctic trail. Saimaa Arctic Trail runs from Oravi, through Linnansaari National Park to Järvisydän. From Oravi to Linnansaari ca. 5km as the total leght of the trail is ca. 18km. The route is open for skiers and walkers and weather permitting also for skaters and kick sparks. There are fire places along the route, a lake hut in Savonselkä and a cafeteria on Linnansaari main island (cafeteria is open mainly on Saturdays, always check the opening hours from the Journal). On Linnansaari island you can find marked snowshoe trails.
The Linnansaari Winter holiday -package includes:

Oravi Apartments is located in Oravi village, only ca. 100m from rental shop, cafe, shop and the tour skating/ winter hiking trail. The Saimaa Arctic Trail takes you into the beatuful National Park of Linnansaari. First to Linnansaari main island 5km and from there to Pieni-Lappi and Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän (weather permitting). At the main island you can find marked snowshoe tracks up to 7km.
